Ensuring proficient governance and management is essential to good service delivery and stakeholder accountability, including the funder. NGO governance is primarily about organizational steering and stewardship. The NGO board furnishes the organization's blueprint that defines its work and development. It establishes policies, provides executive leadership, secures necessary resources, and oversees resource use, organizational performance, and accountability.
